At Roberts Corrosion Services, LLC, we specialize in Close Interval Surveys (CIS) and related diagnostic testing to evaluate the effectiveness of cathodic protection (CP) systems and identify corrosion risks on buried pipelines and structures. Our field crews utilize state-of-the-art equipment and GPS-enabled mapping to collect high-accuracy data that supports pipeline integrity management and compliance with regulatory standards. 

We conduct a full range of cathodic protection surveys, including Interrupted, On-only, Depolarized, Native, and Pipeline Current Mapping surveys. Our team also performs DC cell-to-cell tests to detect hot spots, side drains, and other potential interference issues along the pipeline. Each survey is performed with precision, analyzed by experienced technicians, and presented in detailed, easy-to-read reports. 

We provide Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) and Alternating Current Voltage Gradient (ACVG) coating surveys to locate coating defects and assess the effectiveness of protective coatings on buried pipelines. These techniques allow us to pinpoint coating anomalies that may contribute to corrosion activity and verify the performance of both new and existing coatings. 

All of our survey data includes sub-meter GPS accuracy for precise location tracking and mapping. We can also provide stand-alone GPS surveys to support integrity management programs, ILI correlation, and mapping of test stations or rectifiers. Our data collection is compliant with industry standards and formatted for easy integration into GIS systems. 

Every project includes customized reports, charts, and mapping tailored to your specific data and format requirements. All data can be securely delivered electronically through our client server or via standard file formats for easy import into your internal systems.
