At Roberts Corrosion Services, LLC, we provide a full range of inspection and evaluation services for corrosion control, coating systems, and cathodic protection installations. Our AMPP-certified inspectors combine technical expertise with field experience to ensure every project meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Whether it’s verifying new installations, assessing coating integrity, or conducting failure analyses, RCS delivers accurate, detailed, and actionable results. 

RCS staffs AMPP-Certified Coating Inspectors (CIP Level 1–3) qualified to perform inspections on a wide variety of protective coating systems. Our inspectors evaluate surface preparation, environmental conditions, coating application, dry film thickness, and adhesion to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards. We provide detailed documentation, photographs, and recommendations to help clients maintain long-term corrosion protection and coating performance. 

We also staff AMPP-Certified Cathodic Protection (CP) Technicians (Levels 1–4) for inspection and verification of cathodic protection system installations. Our inspectors review design drawings, installation procedures, and field conditions to confirm compliance with AMPP/NACE standards and client specifications. We verify anode installation, wiring continuity, rectifier settings, and system energization to ensure optimal performance from the start. 

When corrosion or coating failures occur, RCS provides comprehensive failure analysis and investigation services. Our experienced staff can identify the root cause of corrosion, coating delamination, pitting, or electrical issues through visual examination, material testing, and environmental assessment. We deliver clear, detailed reports outlining findings, contributing factors, and corrective recommendations to prevent recurrence. 

RCS performs bell hole inspections in accordance with ECDA (External Corrosion Direct Assessment) protocols. Our field technicians assess wall loss, coating condition, pitting, blistering, and soil characteristics to determine the effectiveness of corrosion protection systems. Data is collected using precision instruments and documented for integration into pipeline integrity management programs.
